ELUKU WINS PDP PRIMARY IN OJOMU/BALOGUN CONSTITUENCY BY LANDSLIDE
Offa, Kwara State
Hon. Comr. Salahudeen A. Lukman, popularly known as “Eluku Omo Adugbo,” has emerged victorious in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Primary Election for the Ojomu/Balogun Constituency after recording a decisive victory across the constituency.
The keenly contested primary election saw Eluku dominate in four out of the five wards, defeating his opponent, Ajibola, with a wide margin of 376 votes.
According to the official ward-by-ward results released after the exercise:
Central A Ward
Eluku – 68 Votes
Ajibola – 2 Votes
Central B Ward
Eluku – 127 Votes
Ajibola – 1 Vote
Ojomu South East Ward
Eluku – 193 Votes
Ajibola – 0 Vote
Ojomu North North West Ward
Eluku – 119 Votes
Ajibola – 8 Votes
Balogun Ward
Eluku – 12 Votes
Ajibola – 132 Votes
At the end of the collation, the final results stood as follows:
Hon. Comr. Salahudeen A. Lukman “Eluku Omo Adugbo” — 519 Votes
Ajibola — 143 Votes
The outcome of the primary election is widely seen as a reflection of the overwhelming support, confidence, and acceptance enjoyed by Eluku among PDP members and stakeholders across the Ojomu/Balogun Constituency.
Party supporters and political observers have described the victory as a strong mandate ahead of the forthcoming elections.
