Kano : AMS Visit Fire Service Kano Boss

ASIWAJU MOSHOOD SHITTU'S OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE STATE CONTROLLER OF FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE, KANO STATE COMMAND


Kano, July 30, 2024 — In a gesture of solidarity and mutual respect, Asiwaju Moshood Shittu, accompanied by key members of the Offa Descendants Union (ODU), paid an official visit to the Kano State Controller of the Federal Fire Service, Engr. Kazeem Oyefola Sholadoye.



The delegation included Comrade Taofeek Olalekan Olaoseibikan, ODU National Public Relations Officer, Chief Whip of the ODU Kano Branch, Mr. Surajudeen Ahmed Taiyese, Mr. Abdulazeez Jimoh Imam, and several other notable members. The visit was aimed at strengthening the ties between the AMS and the Federal Fire Service, as well as recognizing the contributions of Engr. Sholadoye to the fire service community.


Engr. Kazeem Oyefola Sholadoye, a distinguished member of the Sholadoye family from Offa, has been a pivotal figure in enhancing the operations of the Federal Fire Service in Kano. Under his leadership, the command has seen remarkable improvements in fire safety protocols, emergency response times, and community outreach programs. His efforts were also crucial in establishing the Federal Fire Service's presence in Offa, further bridging the gap between the command and the community.


During the visit, Asiwaju Moshood Shittu expressed his admiration for Engr. Sholadoye’s dedication and hard work. “We are proud to see one of our own making such significant strides in public service,” said Shittu. “Your commitment to improving fire safety and emergency response in Kano is commendable, and we are here to support you in any way we can.”



Engr. Sholadoye, visibly moved by the visit, expressed his gratitude. “It is an honor to receive this delegation from Offa. The support and encouragement from my brothers and the ODU mean a great deal to me,” he said. “I promise to continue working diligently to uphold the values and reputation of our homeland, Offa.”

The meeting also included discussions on potential collaborations between the Federal Fire Service and the AMS to further enhance fire safety awareness and training in Offa and its environs. Both parties agreed on the importance of community involvement in fire prevention and safety measures.


The visit concluded with a tour of the Federal Fire Service facilities in Kano, where the delegation was briefed on the latest advancements in fire-fighting equipment and techniques. The tour provided an opportunity for the visitors to witness firsthand the progress made under Engr. Sholadoye’s leadership.



Asiwaju Moshood Shittu and his delegation left the command with a renewed sense of pride and commitment to supporting their members in various capacities. 

The visit not only strengthened the bond between AMS and the Federal Fire Service but also highlighted the significant contributions of individuals like Engr. Sholadoye to national development.
