Ondo: Akeredolu's Death a Monumental Loss to Yoruba Race - Yoruba Council

 

The Death of Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu is a monumental loss to the entire Yoruba race, Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide mourns.

The news of Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu 's demise came as a rude shock, although he has been battling serious health challenges but we never saw the angle of death coming, very sad.

The erstwhile governor of the sunshine state (Ondo) joined his ancestors shortly after Christmas celebration, despite our sadness about his sudden death, we still can't question God who is ultimately the giver and taker of life.

Arakunrin Aketi left an indelible mark in the hearts of all conscientized Yoruba descendants, he was no doubt a beacon of excellence who demonstrated sportsmanship and lived his entire life as an Elder Statesman, he was a father indeed and defended Yoruba race to the best of his capacity.

His great impact in the security of lives and properties of Oodua descendants cannot be undermined, the creation of South West Security Network popularly known as AMOTEKUN is still very fresh in our hearts.

At the height of insecurity in the Southwest region, he summoned courage and lead the intellectual war. His approach to matters of general interest was a topnotch, indeed we lost a rare gem, Akeredolu shall be fondly remembered by his evergreen legacies.

Our heartfelt condolences goes to the Federal Government of Nigeria, the good people of Ondo state particularly the Owo community, his immediate family and the entire Yoruba race.

On behalf of the Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide, we bid Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu (Aketi) farewell from this sinful world........ Adieu Arakunrin Aketi.
