Offa Youth Council (OYC) has announced the date for it maiden national conference and non-elective congress.
The event, themed "Building a Prosperous Future for OFFA and the Ibolo Kingdom; The Role of Young Generation", is scheduled to hold on 1st and 2nd of July, 2023 at Olofa's Palace & Offa Descendants Union (ODU) Hall, respectively.
The conference-cum-congress will feature award presentations, inaguration of OYC Board of Trustees (Bot), district tour, presentations of papers on thematic topics among others.
The Olofa of Offaland, Oba Mufutau Muhammed Oloyede Gbadamosi, Okikiola Esuwoye II, Ajagungbade I is the Royal Father of the day; Alhaji (Chief) Tajudeen Salaudeen Owoyemi (Asiwaju Of Offaland) is the Father of the Day and duo of Sheikh Dr. Muhydeen Hussein, Grand Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh (Dr) Muhydeen Hussein and Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Offa LG Chapter, Apostle Samuel A. Akinremi are the spiritual fathers of the day.
Guest speakers of the day Mutiu Olayemi Olaboye Itafa, Suraj Oyewale Jarus FCA and Alhaji Ayotunde Raji.
