The forum of Concerned Youth Leaders in Ojomu- Balogun Constituency has established an independent youths’ solidarity movement tagged ELUKU SOLIDARITY YOUTHS’ MOVEMENT (ESYM) to canvass support for Ambassador Salahudeen A. Lukman—the PDP flag bearer for Ojomu-Balogun Constituency, Kwara State House of Assembly.
The decision to establish the movement was made during a meeting in Offa Local Government. The meeting, which had in attendance all PDP wards youth leaders in Ojomu-Balogun constituency and prominent youths within Offa, gave birth to the movement which is also aimed at expressing unity of purpose among youths of Offa land.
The Forum firmly believes that the success of a youth like Ambassador Lukman at the poll will mark a political breakthrough for every youth in Offa Local Government and Kwara state at large.
“It is our believe that the success of a youth like Ambassador Lukman at the poll will mark a political breakthrough for every youth in Offa Local Government and Kwara State at large, hence our resolve to covey this movement”.
The forum also appreciated Distinguished Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON) for giving Ambassador Salahudeen the opportunity to bear the flag of PDP in the forth coming 2023 General Elections.
“It is Eluku the son of nobody striving to be somebody for the benefit of everybody today, it can be anyone of us tomorrow, hence the need for this solidarity youth movement in the spirit of #YouthBackYouth”, the forum added.
Furthermore, the forum called on all Offa youths, both men and women, to join the movement across the five wards of Ojomu-Balogun Constituency to show the unique spirit of Offa youths and their unprecedented strive for success among their pairs.
The contact of each ward coordinator of the forum was made available for interested youths to join.
