The National Association of Polytechnic( NAPS ) have named Comr. Salahudeen A. Lukman aka Aluta Inspector General as the Chairman Of the Convention Planning Committee ( CPC ) with the mandate to conduct elections by October ,2021.
This was contained in the press text issued by the Association stakeholders which consist of the Association factional leadership led by Comr. Sunday Asuku and Comr. Ebenezer.
The statement reads "
BEING THE TEXT OF COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AFTER NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS JOINT NATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND NATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS MEETING HELD AT LIBERTY HOTEL ABUJA ON 20TH/21ST AUGUST, 2021.
Preamble:
National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) is an Umbrella Body for all Students Studying in Monotechnics, Polytechnic, Colleges of Technology and other allied Institutions Awarding National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND).
RESOLUTIONS:
The joint meeting of National Stakeholders of NAPS was conveyed at the instance of Stakeholders Consensual Agreement, inconjuction with the Both Co-Leaderships of NAPS Respectively.

RESOLUTIONS.
After extensive deliberations and robust review of the state of NAPS, Both present/past Leadership Analyse the State of NAPS and fine-tune a wayfoward.
The following resolutions were reached.
1. One minute Silence was observed in Honour of the Late Pioneer NANS President Comr Danlad Oladele who was also a Product of the Polytechnic Community.
2. The meeting Ratified and backed the Formation of NAPS constitution review Committee to be headed by Comr Salahudeen A Lukman with Comr Abdulmalik Usman as the Secretary.
Also Comr Jeremiah Friday as Vice Chairman, Comr Nasiru Abdullahi member as well as six SUG President were Added to the Committee.
The leadership of NAPS/ Stakeholders are to Brainstorm on the operational document of the association to permanently address lacuna that often lead to the division and crisis in the association.
3. The Stakeholders expressed gratitude to the Pioneer President of NACES and F.C.T J.C.C Chairman for Providing a Condusive Environment for our Meeting.
4. The meeting Unanimously Agreed For October 2021 as the Date For NAPS Convention 2021.
5. The Meeting Extensively Resolve and agreed on the Formation of the Leadership/Members of Convention Planning Committee (CPC) as Follows.
