Members of Coalition for The Fight Against Gender Violence have vowed to drag the Rector of Federal Polytechnic EDE to court over what they described as Abuse of Public Office.
The Society Coordinator made the submission during it end of the year summit held in Osogbo , Osun State. Kola Odunayo Kelani continued that necessary documents have been prepared by the legal unit of the Society which after it submission will ensure justice for all the Students whim have fall victim of been harassed Verbally or Physically by the Rector.
Kelani was reacting after the Academic Board suspended the Rector in other to send a clear message to other members of the Polytechnic, while the
Rector is insisting that he is still the head of the institution.
Kelani disclosed that “ Since the Academic Board Don’t know how to lawful apprehend defaulters like Mr. John Ade , the Society will be left with no option than to relocate it corporate headquarters in the next 72hours & drag the board for covering of information that will help the public
He lamented the poor state of facilities in the Polytechnic , Particularly on the Classrooms , laboratories and abuse of office by the rector.
In the same vein , Students against Violence ( SAVE ) have thrown their support towards the total removal of the Polytechnic rector with immediate effect.
