COMMUNIQUÉ ISSUED AT THE END OF LETS TALK ABOUT FUDMA 2020 ORGANIZED BY THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF KWARA STATE STUDENTS (NAKSS) FUDMA CHAPTER, HELD AT NEW LECTURE HALL 4 ON FRIDAY 31ST OF JANUARY, 2020
Preamble:
Let's Talk About FUDMA 2020 - We are Grateful
National Association of Kwara State Students Federal University Dutsin-ma Chapter is the umbrella body of all Students from Kwara State origin.
The membership strength of the Association cut across every programme of study and with members virtually from every local government spread in the University.
The glamorous event was declared open, followed by Opening Prayer by Comrade Abdullateef Alaya. This was followed by a welcome address and history of FUDMA by the Association's President, Comrade Abdulyekeen Rilwan. The Guest Speakers, Comrade Nasir (The Acting S.U.G President of FUDMA) and Dr. Abdulrasaq Iliyas (Patron of the association) profoundly delivered the theme lecture.
The Programme featured some very critical and outstanding discussions on Youthful Exuberance; what could be agreed upon to be education (and its forms), the challenges facing education in Nigeria (and Nigerians willing or unwilling to be educated) and way forwards were extensively suggested and recommended by him, he gave advises that among which is how to be successful in life , Dr. Iliyas listed three (3) things Among which are:
1. That we should know the purpose why we are created as an association.
2. Organizing Tutorial for the Benefit of Kwara Students.
3.There should be Unity between ourselves and should not overlooked the minorities.
