NORTHERN YOUTH: AMOTEKUN IS  NOT A TERRORIST GROUP.

The speaker of Odua Youth Parliament Hon. Abdulmajeed Oyeniyi blow hot yesterday at the Ataoja Palace in Osogbo during his visit to the Monarch, while addressing the press men, he reacted to the publication made by a Northern youth group where the group is in comparison of Operation AMOTEKUN to some terrorist group, the speaker said that the comparison lack moral justification and baseless as well as centred on biased mind of some youth from Northern part whose has no regards for security's of life and properties.

The speaker said security of life and properties is a collective effort of every stakeholders and Nigeria security sector is in a state of delema that every state and region  must raise to compliment the effort of Federal Government, and this as just been exhibited by south west governors by putting up OPERATION AMOTEKUN but is so unfortunate that instead for this governors to received accolade from the general public some bad heads among the Northern youth are criticising the scheme more than what you can imagine forgetting that we have ISBA  in kano, Zamfara and Kato De Gora in kaduna all aims at providing security to the citizens and no one is tagging those group as terrorist.

The Speaker Hon. Abdulmajeed Oyeniyi finally commended the effort put in placed by southern region governors in protecting their citizens and call for sustainability in the scheme as the scheme will also serve as employment hub for the teaming youth within and outside the region.
