Hon Abdulmajeed Oladimeji Oyeniyi  further said on behalf of the Parlaiament that

"We take profound solace in Kabiyesi's teachings and words of wisdom, as a first class Royal Father with lots of respect and admiration for the Yoruba culture and tradition at its peak, he gave all his best towards the enthronement of development of Iru- Victoria Island and parts of Lekki Peninsula today, largely  contributing to the  overall economic growth of Lagos Stats and Nigeria.

We are grateful to the Almighty God for a life well spent as an Icon of Peace, we commiserate with the entire Oniru Royal family led by Aremo Segun Oniru and the good people of Iru Land to accept our heart felt condolences on the peaceful ascension of our referred King to the great beyond, we pray for more greater growth and peace in Iru Land.

In the same vein, we wish all Nigerians Happy 59th Independence Day Anniversary, as we call on all Nigerians to embrace peace and unity as our beacon of hope, while admonishing President Muhammadu Buhari and all the 36 states Governors to ensure National development and peace, as part fulfilling thier  political campaign promises to Nigerians.

We strongly appeal for calm in the nation, as we use the opportunity of the occasion of the nation's independence to reflect on the past, plan for the present towards a greater future.

The nation is critically in deer need of solutions to her raging hydra headed challenges, ranging from economic depression to insecurity and wanton unfettered corruption in almost all the subsectors of the nation's  economy.

We use this medium to seek for the reversal of the VAT hike back from 7.5% to its initial 5% , while we demand the Central Bank retract it's decision on the cheese policy on withdrawal charges above N500,000.00 for individuals and N3,000,000.00 for corporate customers across boards, this steps are ill-timed and not in consonant with the political manifesto Nigerians voted for in 2015 and 2019 respectively, since these policies are expected to further aggravating the economic downturn and perilous period on the nation's citizens, most of whom are bedevilled with abject poverty, pains and unending agony.

We demand for a true  national dialogue with all major stakeholders in the nation towards chatting a way forward out of the hoods.

We implore Nigerians not to further overheat the polity beyond its present boiling point into state of war and anarchy, while we use this medium to appeal to Mr President to release and grant Mr Omoyele Sowore full pardon from all present charges pending before the court.

We shall appreciate the Federal Goverment look inwardly more into the fundamentals of the message stated in the demands of the Revolution now struggle and proffer immediate and long term solutions, rather than the messenger.

We call on all Yoruba Youths in the six Southwest states or domiciled in others in South West or call Hon Abdulmajeed on 08063689634
