LET MAUSTECH BE IN IPOKIA
Since the creation of Ogun state in 1976, Ogun West Senatorial district has not had a fair share nor have a taste of what real governance entails in terms of social, economical and political benefits she deserves.
The Senatorial district has not had a fair deal in distribution of every benefits which other Senatorial district have been enjoying even before the creation of the State.
To cut the story short, urgent attention needs to be taken by lovers of equity, justice and fairness. This action needs to be taken now as we have a new sheriff in town in Person of Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, whom we all believe he is a divine leader for this season.
I have taken my time to read comments, positions and write ups from stakeholders in Ogun state on the issues of the moment which has become another platform to show if Ogun West indeed belongs to this state.
The relocation of MAUSTECH to Ipokia should be an action that all indigenes of Ogun State should be clamouring for to balance the imbalances in the distribution of public institutions in Ogun State most especially state owned tertiary institutions.
For the record, Ogun East already hosts OOU , TASUED, TASCE , School of Health Technology, Institute of Petroleum and two of the four ICT Polytechnics.
Ogun Central has Mapoly, FCE, Unaab, University of Medicine (under construction by FMC ), as well as ICT Polytechnic, Itori .
Ogun West has Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro and ICT Polytechnic Igbesa. The difference is clear!
In the interest of even development and social justice, it is just and fair for Ogun State Government should relocate MAUSTECH to Ipokia as against what Egba leaders are pushing for that it should be in Abeokuta(again)!
Abeokuta is already becoming over crowded. That is the place where development is concentrated.
It is only fair that development be moved to other zones, especially Ogun West, that has always been holding the shot end of the bargains.
Fair is fair!!!
Let MAUSTECH be relocated to Ipokia!!!
I Com Yinus Abdulfatai Ayinde hereby call on well meaning Ogun indigenes to speak for Ogun West in the location of another State owned institution in Ogun State.
